Medical Facilities
Kremmling Memorial Hospital District (KMHD) offers comprehensive
health services and wellness services to the Middle Park Region.
The hospital, built in 1973, is located in Kremmling and offers
inpatient care, intensive care, extended care, a 24 hour emergency
room, inpatient and outpatient surgery, wellness center, physical
therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, mammography, radiology, and
a full service laboratory.
KMHD contracts with Flight for Life for emergency trauma transport
to Denver. In addition, the hospital's affiliation with PorterCare
Adventist Health System offers the services of a large medical
system in Denver as well as specialist services in Kremmling.
Mountain Valley Medical Center, located on the hospital campus,
offers family practice, internal medicine and pediatric specialists,
as well as regular specialty clinics including ophthalmology,
podiatry, ear, nose and throat, cardiology, orthopedics and more.
The community health education and wellness programs provide
opportunities for fitness, weight management and exercise, as
well as workshops and seminars on special topics.
The Kremmling Dental Center and Kremmling Chiropractic Clinic
are located adjacent to the hospital in the clinic building.
Police Protection
The Kremmling Police Department provides full-time, 24-hour law
enforcement and cooperates with the Grand County Sheriff and
State Law Enforcement Agencies. It is the only town in Grand
County with it's own Police Department.
Fire Service
Presently, 18 volunteer firemen and six fire trucks remain on
24-hour call for Kremmling and the surrounding area. The Kremmling
Volunteer Fire Department services Kremmling and the surrounding
area. The town is also serviced by the Granby and Hot Sulphur
Springs fire departments through mutual assistance agreements.
The Insurance Services Office provides insurance rates among
the lowest in Colorado for comparable-sized communities.

Assisted Living Center offers services to senior citizens who
need some help in their daily lives, while allowing them to maintain
a measure of independence in a safe, secure, residential setting.

and help from a caring staff.
