For skiers, The area has been a longtime favorite because of nearby Winter Park, second largest ski area in Colorado with more than 750 acres of skiable terrain. Winter is even more inviting with Silvercreek Resort, located right at Granby's doorstep. It's the perfect family ski resort, with gentle beginner slopes and a fully accredited ski school.

You'll find plenty of groomed trails for cross-country at Silvercreek, as well as the nearby Snow Mountain Ranch. Or, if getting off the beaten path is your preference, there are unlimited acres of backcountry skiing in the Rocky Mountain National Park and the Araphoe National Forest.
