The village of Grand Lake is perched on the shore of Colorado's largest natural lake, and is home to Grand County's only live, professional theatre, ROCKY MOUNTAIN REPERTORY. The town of Granby serves as the commercial hub at the center of the county and home to the Silver Creek Ski area. Further south and east, the Fraser Valley provides year round recreation around the towns of Winter Park and Fraser. Hot Sulphur Springs, to the west of Granby, is the oldest settlement in the valley noted for its relaxing hot mineral baths. Kremmling, surrounded by rugged buttes and expansive ranch lands, guards the western entrance to the county.
